I had a great day hanging out with Rachel, Cat, and Josh yesterday. We braved the heat and went to the Botanical Gardens in the morning. There's no way to say we were cool, but it wasn't miserable either. The flowers were beautiful. They have several giant topiaries depicting fairy tale characters. Unfortunately, they were hard to capture on film in some cases because of the glaring white background toward the top of them. You will notice a lot of humans in these shots. They are members of my family who are not only alive, but make me feel alive. I think they qualify for a showing on "It's Alive". Besides, it's my party and I'll post if want to!
