Clicks for Kicks 12-02-2023

I spent a while outside today just taking pictures for the fun and practice of it,
This was a completely accidental shot. I was trying to find the bees and accidentally clicked.
Western Honey Bee

Mexican Honey Wasp

Lucilia eximia
Take a few minutes to find the tiny little lizard. It is the same anole from yesterday's post. He is just a super little baby hiding in the basil. There are lots of little nearly microscopic bees there for him to eat.
This is the same little fellow- zoomed in.
Up close he looks just like a full grown adult anole.
No luck identifying this with iNaturalist. I know all the suggestions were wrong. He is really a tiny little thing.
North American Cardinal (male)

North American Cardinal (female)
Well... I used iNaturalist to identify this bird. It is either a Palm Warbler, Tennessee Warbler, or an Orange Crown Warbler. They all look the same as this one in at least one of the sample photos. If you know which one it is, shoot me a message!
Our sweet Miss Olive
Skinny Vinny
The Wildzone
Red Admiral (used to be called a red admirable) Vanessa atalanta
The Esperanza is starting to look more like a snap bean plant!!! The beans are actually edible, IF you boil them and pour off the water several times. Otherwise, THEY ARE DEADLY. I'll pass, thank you.
