I am pretty sure that this is an athel tamarisk from Africa. It is at the end of the Emperor's Run trail. Remember, this park used to be the town of Calliham. I'm sure someone planted this at their house. It was a very tall huge tree, but it was nearly destroyed by the big freeze.
