Dreary Day 11-29-1023

It was a dreary overcast day today with threats of rain on the horizon that didn't come until it was starting to get dark. I was out with the dogs and my eyes caught on a few things, so I grabbed the camera and tried to capture what I saw. I can't help but notice that I didn't capture the dreariness of the day. Most of the shots look as if they were taken on a sunny day.
I love this blend of the vine, the sorrel, and the grass up against the decaying tree trunk that borders the Wildzone.
These tiny Texas Nightshade blossoms look like they have little pumpkins hanging from them.
Jared's oregano plants are hanging over the walls of the herb garden. I don't know why some are lighter.
Look at all of those little peppers!
They are so pretty and shiny.
These salvias are darker blue than ever before.
The knockout roses suddenly bloomed with little ugly roses. Even the buds are skinny little things!
I love the contrast between a spent stem and one that is fresh with blossoms.
There were two bees buzzing around the salvias. I got several photos.

Another pitiful little rose blossom.
The esperanza is fully in bloom, even though the seed pods are growing like crazy.
This is that same Mealy Blue Sage plant that only blooms in white year after year.
This is also Mealy Blue Sage looking like it should.
