Fantastic Fall... 11-15-2022
My toes are cold as I write this. We are finally having cool days that vanquish the need for AC. I'll put my slippers on, but not the heat. After all, it is only November. It may not be cold enough for heat, but some of the leaves have started to turn. It is my favorite time of the year, when the Texas weather cooperates. There is nothing worse than a Thanksgiving Day in the high 80s. Well... Actually there is. It was 82 last Christmas Day. Yep... That's worse.
This is one of the volunteer trees on my neighbor's side of the privacy fence. I have no idea what it is, and I am too lazy to find out. |

Unfortunately, I doubt this beauty will survive the winter. I hope I am wrong. |
I really love doves. |
Beautiful Miss Olive spends her days sitting on the top of the couch in the den looking out the patio windows. If she sees something that needs to be chased away, she runs around the house like a maniac until you let her out. Then she barrels out of the door and takes a few laps around the trees until she finds the best vantage point to stare down the hapless critter that dared invade her sanctuary. |
