Well, according to Weatherbug, it is 93 degrees outside today in San Antonio. With the 77% humidity, they are saying the "Feels Like" temperature is 121 degrees! I tried going out and taking a few photos. I lasted about 20 minutes before I just couldn't take it anymore. It is supposed to get progressively worse over the next few days.
This cardinal is having a bad hair day.
I just can't take good pictures of the red roses.
This was overexposed, but I liked it anyway.

Brasil (Condalia hookeri) The berries are ripe now. I tasted one. They are sweet and tasty.

I discovered this volunteer Lindheimer's Senna in the Wildzone today. I don't know how I have missed it. Last summer there were several little ones, but I thought the freeze got them all. This is how big my other one was when my friend gave it to me.
Sweet Indian Mallow (Abutilon fruticosum) This plan grows abundantly in my Wildzone. It is a great example of of a native Texas plant that some people would consider a weed. I think it is beautiful and like where it is growing in the Wildzone. Therefore, it is not a weed by the definition I use: a weed is any plant growing where you don't want it!
This is another look at the volunteer Chipetin in Jared's herb garden. I can't wait until I can get shots of red and green peppers together.
The dill is in full bloom today.
The blossoms are beautiful.
Black Swallowtail caterpillar (Papilio polyxenes) Evidently, dill is a host plant! We'll plant a bunch more next year.
