Invented Shots 05-15-2023
Sometimes you just want to sit on the patio after a thunderstorm and take some shots for the heck of it. You just kind of find anything to take pictures of. You sort of "invent" shots out of nothing. The penalty for playing this particular photography game is a bunch of boring low quality pictures as demonstrated below:
This is our Radio Flyer Rain Gauge. |
This poor little titmouse is very plain. It doesn't have that peach color that I love so much. |
The first blooms of the Ezperanza are down low in the back. You can't see them very well. |
Another view of my beautiful Wildzone. The orange flowers are my Texas Native Lantana. |

This should have been a great shot! I guess there was a leaf in front of the male! |
Miss Olive seems to be gaurding the Bird Buddy and the Poor Man's Patio (PMP). |
My description: My beautiful Wildzone Rachel's description: An ugly bunch of weeds |

The next Ezperanza blossoms will be right in the front. |
I don't remember what this is. It is magnified about 20 x. |
In our neighbor, Doug's tree planning his attack. |
Miss Olive ready with her counter attack. |

I had some goldfinches on the plant just outside of the privacy fence. |
They were really too far away to get a good shot. |
I know I get mad when they hog the bird feed, but I love these white-winged doves. |
The homeliest Cardinal in our yard this year. Every year there is that one ugly one! |
The teacher told him to sit straight! |
I was surprised to see this butterfly on the Mealy Blue Sage. It was pretty wet after the storm. |
House Sparrow waiting for a chance to drop down on the feeder. |
