Jimmie, you have some learnin' to do!

Well, Rachel picked up nachos for lunch yesterday. She also got herself a frozen Jack and Coke. You gotta love Chacho's! I nonchalantly brought up how I was interested in a new camera that my buddy John Lack has. His buddy, a professional photographer, recommended it to him. I have been jealous of John's photos. To my amazement, Rachel told me to buy the camera and consider it my birthday and Christmas for this year. Thank you, Jack Daniels! (I'm totally kidding. Rachel was not affected by a few sips of a slushie.)
Sadly, this was the first photo taken with my new Sony RX10 IV. I had it pre-set for taking birds and animals.
This was still on the same setting. Much better.
This did not turn out well. I guess I need a different setting for landscapes. I will have to figure that out.

I decided to simplify things and try using Auto. I haven't used that much with my other camera since I figured out the manual settings. It will take a while to master them on this new one.
I really like this shot. I can see that my photos are going to be better with this new camera.
This is pretty good. I can't get as close to the birds as I can with the old 60X zoom, but the shots are clearer. This was taken in an overcast situation. Y'all know I still haven't mastered overcast on the old camera.
