miércoles primera parte 02-08-2023
The weather finally cleared up around 1:00 PM. I went out several times to take pictures once everything was a little drier. I ended up with more photos to post than Evernote allows in one note, so I broke them into two parts. None of these are spectacular. Unfortunately, I only saw Woody in the morning when it was still raining.

 Okay... The cardinal is perched on a really cool branch. It broke off and fell from way up at the top sometime last spring. It is just hanging there teetering in the hackberry tree. Some times, it gets loaded with sparrows and starts to rock. |
 In case you were curious, they actually crack the sunflower seeds open and spit out the shell. |
 I just had to post this one, even though it is really bad quality. There's a lot going on here. |
