Another hot day. The dogs and I went out and took some photos. There were a few interesting things to shoot today. I really need to get away from the house with my camera, but it there are two problems. 1) It is too damn hot! 2) I am too lazy!
  1. basil 2. chilpetin 3. oregano 4. dill 5. rosemary
My beautiful snag pile and my terrific little Mexican Buckey tree
I only have one wild sunflower this year.
I really like the way the Brazil looks with berries on it.
This one shows all the phases. I can't believe how many berries they are getting this year.
A lot of the plants in the Wildzone are at the end of their cycles.
basil
my little granddog, Skeletor
Normally, I would hate these wires. But today it just all sort of came together.

There was a haze blocking the moon today.
This wasp was just chillin' on the dill.

Isn't this guy beautiful? Those colors drive me wild. Brown is my favorite.
There were a lot of these on the privacy fence today. Did you spot the spider?
I hope this huge hatch out doesn't attract copperheads to the yard. They love to eat these as soon as they come out of the ground.
This is one of the potted plants .The are coming up as pelargoniums, but I think Rachel calls them germaniums.
Mr. Vinny relaxing in the AC under the best ceiling fan in the house
Wow... Skeletor actually has eyes!
When Miss Olive came to live with us a few years back, her face was all black.
This would have been really good, but she looked at something behind me just as I took it.
