Woody and His Gal... 09-22-2023

All of the bird photos were taken through the patio window with the blinds pulled up.
I spotted Woody's girlfriend feeding with the sparrows just as Jared was leaving.
I grabbed my camera, but they all took off. Hoping they would come back, I raised the blinds on the patio window.
They did come back, and I got them just as they took off again.
She continued to feed on the ground, but Woody was feeding in the Smart Feeder.
Then, they all took off for the trees again. A few seconds later, Woody and his girlfriend landed close to the Wildzone and started feeding together.
I was a little worried because they weren't taking off when the sparrows did.
They just kept eating until the sparrows came back.
They were really close together for about a minute.
A few seconds after this shot, all the birds flew off and left the area completely just before a hawk passed.
More of my flame flowers in the Wildzone.
I sure do have pretty weeds!
I love the pale coloration of both the leaves and the blossoms on the Indian mallow.
The Lantana is definitely blooming. It's kind of a spastic bloom, though.
Right now, these are the only bulbine blooms.
